CompleCure has integrated a newly developed photosensitizing agent, Ax-SiPc, into its AMDC platform for photoimmunotherapy. This photosensitizing agent selectively accumulates in cancerous tissues and generates singlet oxygen upon irradiation with near-infrared light from outside the body, leading to the destruction of cancer cells. This innovative method leverages the high tissue permeability of near-infrared light to offer a safe and effective external treatment. Additionally, Ax-SiPc can serve as a probe for photoimmunotherapy by transforming Psyche into AMDC through the Cupid-Psyche System.​
